When little Knataly Hope and Adeline Faith were born in Texas in the spring of 2014, doctors barely believed they would survive. The girls were conjoined twins \u2014 one body, two hearts, and one shared life journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their chances of survival were only 20 percent. That\u2019s why their parents gave them names with deep meaning: Hope and Faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately after birth, the twins were placed under constant observation by specialists at Texas Children\u2019s Hospital. There began a long preparation for an operation that could become either a miracle or a tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
